The natural landscape of Rokua Geopark consists of various landforms and natural sites shaped by natural forces. Some of these have developed over hundreds of millions of years, while others have formed over the last 11,000 years.
Rokua Geopark consists of three landscape areas: the Oulujoki River Valley, Lake Oulujärvi, and the Rokua esker and dune area.
