Arctic Lake Experience -igloo

Our igloo is located on the shore of Lake Oulujärvi, approximately 20 km from the center of Kajaani.

When making your reservation, please let us know your estimated time of arrival so that we can welcome you personally and show you to your igloo. If necessary, we can arrange transportation to the igloo from Kajaani, Vuokatti, or your desired location.

Igloo accommodation includes a generous and fresh breakfast, which will be delivered to the igloo at the time of your choosing. The igloo also has bottled spring water, coffee and tea supplies, and a minibar. The igloo has cutlery and a cooler bag for your own snacks.

An experience dinner on the shores of Lake Oulujärvi can be ordered separately when booking your accommodation. The price of the dinner, which includes local food from Lake Oulujärvi – fried fish, mashed potatoes, salad, and lingonberry pie – is 50 € per person.

The igloo has a toilet but no shower. Our lakeside sauna can be heated on request. The price for a private lakeside sauna is 120 € / 2 hours in winter (1 October–30 April) and 80 € / 2 hours in summer (1 May–30 September).
