Ärjänsaari summer kiosk
Our summer café, located in the Kotila cottage built in 1937 on Ärjänsaari Island, is open daily from June 1 to August 18, 2024, from at least 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The café offers delicious doughnuts, refreshing ice cream, cool soft drinks, sweet treats, and more.
In addition to the local products already on offer, we are constantly striving to find new delicacies produced in the surrounding area.
Our selection also includes gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan products.
An oasis for geocachers, berry pickers, and photographers
You can get a taste of treasure hunting by geocaching, but why not also go berry and mushroom picking? Best of all, there are plenty of birds on the island to marvel at. Photographers should keep their fingers on the shutter button in case of any interesting waterfowl sightings!

In winter, fishermen on Lake Oulujärvi swap their spinning rods for ice fishing rods and thermos flasks. You can almost feel the aroma of hot coffee and the excitement of a good catch in the air!
